As a passionate travel blogger always on the lookout for hidden gems, I’m thrilled to share my latest discovery—Lubang Island, nestled in Occidental Mindoro, Philippines. This secluded paradise is a must-visit for travelers craving authentic, off-the-beaten-path adventures.

During my recent exploration, I was captivated by Lubang's pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. What struck me most was the incredible accessibility of its marine life. Unlike many popular snorkeling spots, here you don't need to venture far from shore to witness vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish. 

It's a dream come true for underwater photography enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

What to Do in Lubang Island?

• Explore the stunning beaches of Tagbac and Binacas in Lubang, and Bonbon in Looc

• Scuba dive with Don Juan Villa Beach Resort and Dive Center for deeper underwater exploration

• Capture breathtaking sunset views over the ocean.

• Trek to Gozar Air Station, Mt. Benogongon, and Mt. Gonting for panoramic views

• Hike the Onoda Trail and explore its historic caves

• Visit the serene Hulagaang Waterfalls for a refreshing break

Cultural and Historical Immersion

How to get there? 

• Take the train to Gil Puyat LRT, 

• Look for  DLTB LRT Gil Puyat Station, 

• Take the bus  going to  Nasugbu port
  
  
• Reserve a ticket for the fastcraft or Roro going to Tikling Port.
  
  

It will take 6 hours travel time coming from Manila depends to the wave.
